If you wanna try an exotic and awesome Kambing (goat) Specialties, Toto's Kambingan (goat restaurant) is the best place to be!! It's just along Commonwealth Avenue, near Wilcon's Home Depo at Quezon City.
On a Saturday afternoon, I invited my father and my brother-in-law to go for an all-boys-lunch-out at Toto's. Together with my son Aron, my nephew KC and my brother Alex, we all have a good time at Toto's Kambingan....
Along the way, we were expecting a fully air conditioned resto, but what we got is a big Al fresco carinderia. The parking is just literally along the sidewalk of Commonwealth Avenue and we've seen lots of cars, van, jeepneys and tricyles. This means Totos were visited by people from all walks of life and this adds up to my curiosity.
And so we ordered all their specialties.......
Their Kalderata (80.00 php) is a must. Each menu is good for 1 to 2 persons. I believe they've added in pork and beans to it.
For those who haven't tried eating kambing, I would strongly recommend Toto's. I may say, there were no stingy or fishy-taste on all the food that we got.
For every cup of rice they also serve free and soup-all-you-can papaitan....wow..........................
The Kilawing Kambing (100.00 php) is the best I've ever tasted. My throat was looking for a bottle of beer after getting a few bites of it.
The gising-gising (80.00 php) was a fusion of goat's lamang-loob and is best with fish sauce and chili.
Another top-of-the-list kambing recipe is the Sinampalukang Kambing (surprisingly only 80.00 php)
Toto's also got an air conditioned place where anyone can rent for 1, 500 php exclusive of a Videoke machine...
Here are some of our all-boys-lunch+bonding pictures we took at TOTO's Kambingan......
And I may say, the price were affordable as well....
Come visit the place!!
